I discovered this amazing herb about 10 years ago, and ever since, I always keep a small supply at home because it’s incredibly effective for treating the liver.

I harvest Endronika (Galium) in July. The herb is delicate when drying – it should be hung in small bunches or spread in a thin layer on a drying board, and turned frequently.

How do I prepare and use Endronika infusion?

  • I boil 2 tablespoons of chopped herb in 1 cup of water.
  • I simmer it for up to 5 minutes and then let it steep for at least 2 hours.
  • I drink 100 ml three times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
  • The treatment course lasts 3–5 weeks.

I also add Endronika to kvass to help dissolve gallstones. Generally, this herb has a wider spectrum of healing properties, but I personally use it as a “liver herb.”
