Did you know that the money tree has a powerful effect on the health of the people living in the home where it’s kept?
If someone falls ill, the plant’s condition quickly deteriorates — it starts to wither and shed its leaves, as if it’s absorbing the negative energy. Once the person recovers, the plant begins to revive and flourish again.
Despite its huge popularity and low maintenance, most people are unaware of the plant’s excellent bactericidal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties — which are comparable in strength to aloe.
Uses of the Money Tree for Common Ailments:
- Herpes (cold sores): Squeeze juice from a few leaves and apply to the sore every 30 minutes. Alternatively, soak a cotton pad in the juice and fix it to the area with a patch.
- Sore throat, tonsillitis: Mix juice from 10 leaves with 200 ml of water and gargle 3–5 times a day.
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers: Chew 2 leaves in the morning, one hour before breakfast.
- Pyelonephritis, cystitis: Crush 5 leaves, pour 200 ml of hot water over them, steep for 1 hour, strain, and take 1 tablespoon 15 minutes before meals, three times daily.
- Arthritis, arthrosis: Squeeze juice from 10–15 leaves and massage into the affected joints before bed.
- Hemorrhoids: Apply a cut leaf directly — it provides instant relief.
- Burns, bruises, sprains, wounds, abscesses: Place crushed leaves on the affected area, secure with a bandage, and change it every 2–3 hours when dry.
Caution: The money tree contains a high concentration of arsenic. Internal use of any remedy based on this plant should not be overused or taken without caution.
How to Care for a Money Tree
Outdoors, the money tree can grow to 1.5–3 meters tall and may bloom with white or cream-colored flowers that cover the plant. Indoors, it rarely flowers.
This plant releases biologically active compounds that positively affect indoor air quality and benefit the body. Air enriched with these compounds helps reduce nervous tension and kills viruses and harmful microorganisms — making the money tree a great natural remedy for preventing colds.
To take full advantage of its energy, place the plant in a suitable spot and care for it properly.
