Ingredients:
- 200 g cookies (tea biscuits or digestive)
- 130 g sugar
- 220 g butter
- 300 ml sweetened condensed milk (boiled)
- 4 bananas
- 2 g vanilla
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Crush the cookies in a blender. Mix the crumbs with half the butter (melted) and 60 g sugar. If your cookies are already sweet, you can skip the sugar.
Press the cookie mixture firmly into a baking form and bake for 8–10 minutes. Then, let the crust cool completely. - Prepare the caramel layer:
Melt the remaining butter in a saucepan, add the vanilla and 70 g sugar, then add the boiled condensed milk. Return the pan to low heat and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and changes color.
Pour the caramel over the baked cookie crust. - Chill the dessert in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the sliced bananas, then spread this cream mixture over the caramel layer.
Refrigerate for another hour before serving.
Enjoy your rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet Banoffee dessert — simple to prepare and guaranteed to impress! Let me know if you’d like variations (like adding chocolate shavings or coffee flavor).
