A lipoma is a soft, fatty tissue growth that forms under the skin. It is usually painless, and if it’s small and causes no discomfort, treatment may not be necessary.
A lipoma forms due to the excessive accumulation of fat cells. It can appear anywhere on the body where fat cells are present, but it most commonly develops in the following areas:
- Shoulders
- Arms
- Neck
- Back
- Chest
- Buttocks
- Thighs
Lipomas are relatively common, occurring in about 1 in 100 people. Multiple lipomas are rare unless a person has a hereditary condition known as familial multiple lipomatosis, in which fatty lumps develop throughout the body.
To eliminate these fatty formations and avoid laser or surgical intervention, you can try this effective folk remedy.
Below is a highly effective method for removing lipomas – even dermatologists recommend it!
The secret lies in flour and honey!
Preparation:
- Mix equal parts of flour and honey into a paste.
- Apply the mixture directly to the lipoma-affected areas.
- The layer should be at least 0.5–1 cm thick.
- Cover the area with gauze or cotton cloth and leave it on for 36 hours.
- Then remove it and apply a fresh layer.
- Repeat this process five times.
After about one week, you’ll notice that the lipoma has disappeared.
