This quick khachapuri recipe is exactly what you need! Ingredients for the dough and filling:

  • 400 g flour
  • 1 cup kefir
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300–400 g cheese
  • Fresh herbs: dill, parsley, coriander
  • Butter

 




Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 200 ml matsoni (or plain yogurt)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp chopped herbs

Preparation instructions:

  1. Mix kefir with baking soda and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine the flour with salt, then add the kefir mixture and knead until the dough becomes elastic.
  3. Dust the dough with flour, cover with a towel, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Grate the cheese and mix it with chopped herbs. Add salt to taste.
