Ingredients:
- For the crust (biscuit base):
- 200 grams of biscuits (like Digestive)
- 100 grams of melted butter
For the filling:
- 600 grams of cream cheese (e.g., Philadelphia)
- 200 ml sour cream or heavy cream
- 150 grams of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp flour (optional)
For topping (optional): Fresh fruit or Fruit jam
Preparation Instructions:
1. Base:
- Crush the biscuits and mix with melted butter.
- Press the mixture into a baking form and refrigerate.
2. Cream filling:
- Whip the cream cheese with the sugar.
- Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs (one at a time).
- Add flour if desired.
3. Baking:
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Bake using the bain-marie (water bath) method for ~50–60 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the oven, then refrigerate overnight.
Add strawberry jam or fresh fruit. Serve well chilled.
