The pain will be gone the next day!
Cabbage is a low-calorie and very nutritious vegetable that is a rich source of vitamin C, potassium, and vitamin K. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. For centuries, it has been traditionally used to treat skin swelling and bruises.
This plant is rich in vitamins, phytonutrients, anthocyanins, and glutamines, which provide anti-inflammatory benefits, making it extremely helpful for joint pain.
Adding cabbage leaves as a compress gives significant relief for patients with arthritis!
To make a cabbage compress, you will need:
- Organic cabbage (the color does not matter)
- Aluminum foil
- A rolling pin or wine bottle and a meat mallet
- Gauze or bandage
Instructions:
- Remove the outer leaves of the vegetable and wash them thoroughly.
- Dry them and cut out the thick, tough stem in the middle.
- Place the leaves on a table and use a rolling pin or bottle to flatten them and release the juice.
- Wrap the cabbage in foil and place it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it up.
- Then place the cabbage on the painful area and secure it with gauze or a bandage.
- Leave this compress on for one hour and do this three times a day, using fresh leaves each time.
You’ll feel improvement the next day! If you want to use a cold compress, freeze the cabbage before the procedure.
If you use red cabbage, it’s rich in anthocyanins (these are chemicals that relieve joint pain and inflammation). Red and green cabbage are extremely helpful for ulcers.
However, note that cabbage allergy, although rare, may cause swelling or itching, so if you notice any of these symptoms, remove the compress and rinse your legs thoroughly with cool water.
And if in rare cases your condition worsens and irritation increases, consult a doctor!

Wishing you good health!
